Kevin Brown

Founding Partner & Head of Construction

A Dallas native and visionary builder, Kevin leads Simply Custom's construction and development work from opportunity assessment through delivery. His background includes subdivision development, home sales, commercial construction and the coordinated network of designers, engineers, lenders and trades needed to move complex projects forward. His purpose is larger than the building: restore communities, retain wealth and prepare the next generation to build.

Kevin previously helped build and sell a subdivision as a vice president with Simpson Homes.

Jeannette Brown-Sneed

Partner & Head of Design Services

Jeannette brings decades of architecture, facilities planning, design and capital-project leadership. Before joining Simply Custom, she served the City of Dallas and retired as Facilities Manager and leader of capital improvements for the Dallas Public Library system. Her public-sector discipline and design knowledge strengthen Simply Custom's planning, coordination and community-centered approach.

Howunna Johnson

Chief Operations Officer

Howunna brings more than two decades of operational, financial and risk-management leadership. Her corporate experience includes officer-level work with major financial institutions. At Simply Custom, she connects strategy, client engagement, internal operations and financial stewardship from preconstruction through project completion.

Kuane Brown

Construction Manager

Kuane brings more than 15 years of field and construction leadership across commercial interiors, adaptive reuse, healthcare, hospitality and residential development. He coordinates trades, sequencing, quality, inspections and client priorities while advancing Simply Custom's commitment to sustainable construction and community workforce development.

Tyson Johnson

Project Manager

Tyson combines trade knowledge with disciplined project coordination. His experience began in electrical work and developed into responsibility across budgeting, predevelopment coordination, field execution, safety, quality and final delivery. He also supports the next generation of builders through mentorship and hands-on exposure.
